Department of Biochemistry
The biochemistry department is involved in undergraduate (MBBS) and post graduate (MD) teaching. The Department also conducts regular CMEs , workshops and conferences to foster an environment of excellence in medical education and research . The department is run by a group of experienced and talented doctors and faculties who provide laboratory services to outpatient and inpatients serve and as a referral laboratory for those practicing in the surrounding areas. Routine biochemistry and specialized tests like hormones, tumor markers, vitamins, viral marks and therapeutic drug monitoring is carried out on daily basis ,maintaining the highest quality of performance. We boast of a state of art laboratory with latest equipments and technology, bar coding and Laboratory Information System(LIS) for speedier and accurate generation of results.

Our skilled faculty, committed to lifelong learning, actively contribute to the competency-based undergraduate curriculum. The faculty is trained in laboratory quality management and internal audits (ISO 15189), and the clinical biochemistry lab is NABH accredited.
