Department of Pathology
The Department of Pathology at NSMCH plays a vital role in undergraduate (MBBS) and postgraduate (MD) education. It regularly hosts CMEs, workshops, and conferences to enhance medical education and research. The department provides essential laboratory services to outpatients and inpatients, and serves as a referral center for local healthcare providers. Daily tests, including histopathology, cytology, and hematology, are conducted with a focus on quality and accuracy. The department is equipped with advanced technology, including a Laboratory Information System (LIS), to ensure efficient and precise results.
