Department of Psychiatry
The Department of Psychiatry is actively engaged in both undergraduate (MBBS) and postgraduate (MD) teaching. It regularly hosts CMEs, workshops, and conferences to enhance medical education and research. Led by a team of experienced psychiatrists and faculty, the department provides comprehensive care for both outpatient and inpatient psychiatric cases, serving as a referral center for local healthcare providers. Routine psychiatric assessments, including screenings for mental health conditions, therapy, and medication management, are performed daily with a focus on high-quality patient care. The department is equipped with advanced diagnostic tools and treatment techniques, ensuring precise diagnosis and effective management of mental health disorders.
