The Department of Tuberculosis and Respiratory Diseases is actively involved in both undergraduate (MBBS) and postgraduate (MD) teaching. The department regularly organizes CMEs, workshops, and conferences to advance medical education and research. Led by a team of experienced pulmonologists and faculty, the department provides comprehensive care for both outpatient and inpatient respiratory conditions, and serves as a referral center for local healthcare providers. Routine assessments, including pulmonary function tests, chest imaging, and tuberculosis screenings, are carried out daily with a focus on accurate diagnosis and effective treatment. The department is equipped with advanced diagnostic technologies, including a Laboratory Information System (LIS), ensuring timely and precise results for optimal patient care.
