Sitwanto Devi Mahila Kalyan Sansthan is a registered society, officially recognized under the Society Registration Act 21, 1860, on December 11, 1996. The society was founded by Shri Madan Mohan Singh , a visionary social entrepreneur, with a clear mission to uplift and empower the underprivileged communities in the remote areas of Bihar and Jharkhand. Driven by a strong desire to address social inequalities, Shri Singh established the society to bring about positive change and improve the lives of marginalized populations. Through various welfare programs and initiatives, the society has consistently worked to enhance access to education, healthcare, and other essential services for those who need it the most.

The Society was established with a wide spectrum of ideas however the major initiatives were taken in the field of education because the founder Shri. M.M Singh believed in a philosophy which vindicates“Education is tool to empower millions and to be the tool of change in Society”
